Galem House- Punakha

Located near Punakha Dzong, Galem House is a popular attraction for visitors. The three-story structure was supposedly owned by Changyul Bum Galem, a beautiful woman known by people for her tragic love story with a man of lower economic status.

The Haa Valley

We also have to ride in the Haa Valley, which is surrounded by thick forests. The area is historically important as it served as a trade route to Tibet in ancient times. Here we come across the Black and White Temple, Tagchu Goemba who is 100 years old and Shekhar Drak who is a unique temple.
